Sanibel Island and what I found tonight!

Sanibel Island and what I found tonight! After another, amazing Sanibel Island Photography Session. We decided to check out a new place for dinner. Sometimes if you don’t go to new place’s, you don’t know what you are missing!

For dinner, we decided to go into the Island Inn. It is known to be the Historic Beachfront Resort. Honestly I never knew the place existed. We walked in the front door and the first thing I noticed was the amazing mouth of Shell’s they have displayed in the lobby. Shelling is kind of a new hobby for me. So I was pretty much in awe!

After we ate a very romantic dinner. My fiancé and I went over photo’s from his phone from when we first met. It was nice looking over those photo’s. It brought back so many memories that neither one of us would have remembered if we didn’t take photo’s. Which made me realize even more how important photo’s are.

With that being Said…

After dinner we decided to talk to the Gentleman who sat in the lobby. We found out that they had photograph’s from the very early 1900’s. I was awestruck! The amount of Historical information they had was incredible. Dozen’s of Album’s filled with newspaper clippings and visitor’s wedding photo’s, as well as announcement’s even obituary’s. As a photographer,And a person who truly loves this Island. This place was a real treat! I just cannot wait to go back !
