NJ engagement photographer

NJ engagement photographer find’s blessings in photographing couples in love. But this one is extra special to me. You see this woman is one of my oldest friends. My pen-pal when pen pal’s existed and certainly one of my hero’s.

Randi and Irv met in high school they went to their senior prom together. They dated a few years quite possibly each other’s first love, and then drifted apart. The year’s went by and Randi  went on to be a co-Founder of The Youth Mental Health Project and an award-winning screenwriter and producer of the feature film, NO LETTING GO.

But this isn’t just her story.

Randi and Irv went on to have their own lives. They both got married and had children, who are the light of their lives.   They both divorced and soon ran into each other again. If memory serves me right they went to lunch and realized they still had feelings for each other. I honestly don’t remember seeing her face light up as much as it did when she told me about him. I was so excited to take their engagement photos!

Okay so it wasn’t the longest engagement photo shoot In history because it happened to be at my mom’s 80th birthday party. But if I could, I would have given them a lifetime of photos.

Being a NJ Engagement Photographer

Is pretty awesome and a lot of fun. I love seeing two people pick each other to spend forever with. But again this one was very special to me. You see Randi is my cousin by blood, but we are friends by choice. Which makes Irv my cousin by marriage and my NEW favorite cousin! ( However that stuff works) All I know is that she is happy. And it radiates to everyone around them. I love you guys and just can’t wait to have some cake at your wedding. What  sweet serendipity!

NJ Family Photographer saddened  ‘Its not a goodbye, it’s a see you later

NJ Family photographer saddened, in 2017 I was blessed to be able to photograph this couple. Obviously they were still very much in love.

Words from Their Granddaughter: “We are so lucky to have your beautiful photos. We’ve been pouring over them all week. Thank you for the memories”

NJ Family Photographer saddened “it’s not a goodbye it’s a see you later”.

I was on facebook this morning, and read the post above, my heart sank. The chills ran up my back and I had to reach out. ” Nan passed away on Sunday”. I had to excuse myself from where I was, to cry. I usually form a special bond with my client’s, but these two were just a little bit “extra” special. You see at the time of this photo session she was 91 years young and he was 92!

They had this amazing porch, to go along with all of the dream’s many young girl’s dream of when she dreams about her future.

Imagine, literally being together forever? They were so young when they met and here they sat with a lifetime of memories and a beautiful family, reminiscing about their wedding day. These photograph’s are true family heirloom’s. They will never be forgotten and the future generations to come will always know of the love these two beautiful soul’s had for each other. As a NJ Family photographer who was lucky enough to watch this love story first hand I am so sad. But my gosh to live such a full fantastic life for 94 years is something special!

Captiva Island family photographer

Captiva Island family photographer. I am so excited to be spending the Holiday’s on Sanibel and Captiva Islands.

Sanibel- Island- Photographer

Being a Captiva Island family Photographer is so rewarding. My favorite place for a family photo session is at South Seas Resort because the South West Florida sunsets are the best that I have ever seen. Being able to stay on the beach all day with family and just relaxing is one of the best feelings. One of the best parts of being a family photographer is seeing how happy families are together. Seeing how close they become after a session on the beach during the glowing sunset is always great. While staying on Captiva Island, there are many unique things to do like buying a hot dog while laying in the sun on the beach from Joey’s Hot Dogs

Sanibel Stoop

People are always on the hunt for the most unusual shells, especially on Sanibel Island. In South West Florida, shelling is a much bigger deal than most other places. Shelling is basically just picking up unique shells on the shore, which can be far more exciting than it sounds. As a Captiva Island family photographer, people have asked before to bring me along to capture the moments of them collecting shells. Being able to capture the moment when someone picks up a beautiful shell is always a great photo.
