What to Wear to a photoshoot for your family photos

It is a beautiful day for your fall family photos ! But do you are you going to wear? Proper clothing plays a great role in establishing the perfect portrait. If the clothing is too overwhelming, it could easily become a distraction and take away from the image. Clothing that does not attract attention to itself is the ultimate goal. It could be the difference between a very successful portrait and just another picture. To start off, here are the some guidelines  of having a great outfit for the day of your photoshoot.

Clothing

To start off, keep the season’s in mind. You want to be comfortable and confident! Also, keep in mind patterns  stripes, animal prints are all not great. Too many people wearing them can be distracting. If One person is wearing a pattern the other can wear a solid color within the pattern that compliments it.

        Jewelry

Truthfully for Jewelry I really appreciate the pieces that mean something. Your mom’s or grandmother’s ring or necklace?

Family Photo Sessions

Do you like bright colors, vintage clothing, a certain era?

Since these photos will be hung around your house, you want to make sure what you are wearing will be something you want to look at. For a while at least. Although matching clothes is utterly adorable, consider choosing a couple of colors to create a scheme to make the picture appear as if everything is flowing together. In addition to this, when choosing your color theme, refrain from wearing any clothes that have any logos. In the end, keep it “YOU”. These pictures will be hung on your walls and treasured for years to come. If you want your walls to be classy with a timeless feel, the clothes you wear to your photo session are where to start.
